What has the impact been of Nonprofit Energy Alliance’s six rounds?
We’ve gone through five rounds of the Nonprofit Energy Alliance: the first announced in May 2010, the second announced in October 2010, the third announced in April 2011, the fourth announced in October 2011, the fifth announced in April 2012 and the sixth announced in October 2012. A total of 64 organizations have participated, saving a combined amount of $536,000 over a one-year period compared to standard offer service and offsetting about 40 million pounds of carbon dioxide annually. The impact of these six alliances is equivalent to taking 3,500 passenger vehicles off the roads over a one-year period — pretty staggering!
